Izuku Midoriya
Izuku Midoriya is the main protagonist of My Hero Academia. He was born without any powers in a world were 80 percent of humans have abilities known as Quirks, but that didn't stop him from trying to be a hero. He is later given a quirk by his idol and the number 1 hero, All Might after proving himself as a his successor. After enrolling in a prestigious super hero school, he embarks on a journey to become a powerful hero and symbol of peace. His quirk is called One For All.

Personality
Midoriya starts out as a timid, emotional, courageous and altruistic boy. He initially had difficulty asserting himself and believing in himself and acknowledging his accomplishment. As time passes he grows out of this and gains confidence in his abilities and becomes able to properly express himself to others.
One of Midoriya's most defining traits is his analytical nature particularly towards heroes and the quirks of others. He keeps notes on pro heroes and their quirks. Due to this he possesses extensive knowledge on pro heroes and knows how to spot weaknesses in quirks and how to use the abilities of others and himself to formulate effective strategies.
Quirk
One For All
Izuku's quirk is a power stockpiling quirk passed down for generations through multiple users. He is the 9th holder if this ability known as One For All. This quirk grants him high levels of strength, speed and durability. A strong body is required to use it at full power and due to him not being strong enough he can only safely wield a certain percentage of his power. This limit is currently 45%.
Due to One For All's origin it holds the amplified abilities of the past users. Currently Izuku can use the following abilities within One For All. These are:
Blackwhip: This quirk belonged to the fifth user and allows Izuku to create black tendrils of energy from his hands.
Float: This quirk is from the seventh user and allows Izuku to float in mid-air.
Gearshift: This quirk belonged to the second user allows the user to change the speed and/or velocity of any target he touches, including himself ignoring the law of inertia.
Fa Jin: This quirk belonged to the third user allows the user to build up and store kinetic energy by performing repetitive movement. He can later release this stored energy as an explosive burst of speed and power. Fa Jin can use in conjunction with other quirks to enhance them.
Smokescreen: This quirk belonged to the sixth user allows the user to to generate a thick cloud of purple smoke from his body.
Danger Sense: This quirk belonged to the fourth user allows the detection of threats in the surrounding area by sensing ones intention or malice.
