A Japanese cop, Takeda is often seen as slightly ineffectual since he has arrested innocent people in the past. Takeda actually is a sadistic sociopath who became a cop to view the terrified looks on peoples faces after murders ad other violent crimes. He murdered the father if Yako Katsuragi just to see her expression change from happy to sorrowful. Demon detective Neuro Nogami would go on to solve the murder and feast on his negative energy as a result.
