Kin is a member of The Sound Genin. She fought against Shikamaru and lost. She was eventually used as a sacrifice for the Impure world resurrection technique to summon the deceased second hokage, Tobirama.

Kin Tsuchi along with the rest of the rest of The Sound Genin entered the Chuunin Exams to hunt and kill Sasuke. After the battle with Sasuke Kin battled Shikamaru Nara in the Chuunin Exams and lost. She was killed by Orochimaru to summon the second Hokage.
