Laffitte, also known as the Demon Sheriff, is a former West Blue police officer who abused his authority to commit brutal acts, lost his position as a police officer, and was exiled from West Blue. After his exile, he ended up meeting and becoming a member of the crew of Captain Marshall D. Teach, the man who would later become known as the Yonkou Blackbeard.
