Porunga is the eternal dragon of Namek who can be summoned by gathering the Dragon Balls. Porunga was created by Grand Elder Guru and is known on Namek as the 'God of Dreams.'

Porunga is capable of granting three wishes. Unlike his Earth counterpart Shenron, Porunga can revive someone from death more than once, although he can only revive one person at a time. Porunga can be summoned every 130 days, while Shenron takes one year. He is much more friendly and patient than Shenron.
