Walking Away From His Quincy Status
The father of Uryu Ishida and the son of Soken Ishida, Ryuken was raised in the way's of the quincy, presumebly trained by his father much like Uryu was trained by Soken. Ryuken would gain all the quincy powers from his father making him the true last quincy. At some point during his life Ryuken gave up his quincy ways, even telling his son that the quincy generation will die out with Soken. His reason for leaving the quincy ways was because he found more sense in trying to save the living than helping the dead. Ryuken would go on to set up his own hospital. It is unknown at what point they became aquanted but Ryuken has a mutual relationship with Isshin Kurosaki.
