She came in contact with the Witchblade when she nearly lost her life in one of her investigations. The Witchblade manifestation with Alex Underwood is very different from it's previous incarnations by covering Alex's face and body with a metallic black skin and silver like ribbons that swirls and extends out of her body to become extended whip-like weapons.
