A member of the Super-Heavyweights, a support group for overweight heroes. Knockout had her weight problems before gaining her super powers. Her overeating was giving her sleep apnea, so she went for help to a sleep clinic.

There was an accident while they were testing her though, and she soon discovered that she had the ability to slow down a person's metabolism. She was able to put people to sleep just by touching them.
