555, or as he liked to be called, "5" debuted in the newspaper strips the Fall 1963. He would have been mostly forgotten if he had not made a brief, unspoken but very memorable appearance in the 1965 cartoon special "A Charlie Brown Christmas." He was the back and forth neck bobbing male wearing an orange shirt in the famous musical dance scene. The mostly unknown, yet memorable head swaying girls are his twin sisters, 3 and 4.
