Arlene and Garfield have an on and off again relationship. Arlene regularly likes to eat mice, to Garfield's dismay. Usually when Garfield goes on dates with Arlene, Garfield always talks about himself, which Arlene gets annoyed by. She once had a gap between her teeth which Garfield teased Arlene about, which ended up Arlene giving Garfield his own gap between his teeth. Her gap soon started to disappear later on.
