Origin
Commander Trill was part of The Vine army force that kidnapped Aric of Dacia, Gafti and other Visigoths from their homeland to be enslaved on the Vine mother ship. During an attempted escape by the slaves, Aric took out one of Trill's eyes.
Creation
Commander Trill was created by writer Robert Venditti and artist Cary Nord. He first appeared in "Blades and Open Fields" in 2012.
Major Story Arcs
Commander Trill has had a personal vendetta against Aric since the Visigoth took out one of his eyes. It transpires Trill is also consumed with rage that Shanhara did not choose him. Whilst leading his X-O Commandos to retrieve Shanahara, Trill and his men ar defeated by Aric. Trill then uses Gafti as a bargaining chip to get the armour of Aric. However Aric soon retrieves Shanhara and brutally beats Trill before he manages to escape.
