Origin
Sorin Markov was born on the plane of Innistrad. When he was imbued with the power of a vampire, the experienced caused his Planeswalker "spark" to ignite - the ability to travel freely throughout the multiverse. With this power, Sorin became a Planeswalker, and is currently one of the oldest Planeswalkers alive.
Thousands of years ago, Sorin faced off against the fearsome Eldrazi - powerful beings who fed on colored magic. Sorin, along with two other Planeswalkers, sacrificed the plane of Zendikar along with its inhabitants in order to trap the Eldrazi, preventing them from causing harm to the rest of the multiverse.

Sorin is a powerful and experienced Planeswalker. Like all Planeswalkers, Sorin can freely travel between planes throughout the multiverse.
