Origin

Raised by a single mother, Julian was sometimes hassled by the other kids about having no father. When he punched a bully one day, he was thrown off the school bus. Another pupil, Tony Santinello, went with him and they became friends. Tony slowly formed a criminal empire around him, using Julian as his bodyguard. One day, Tony ran out local crime boss Eugene Sharp. Sharp later took revenge by stabbing Julian in the back. Not wounded by it, Julian grabbed Sharp by his neck and suddenly discovered that he had powers because he fried Sharp.

This act got the attention of Venus, who guided him and brought him to Neptune to unlock some of his memories. Memories flooded Zagreus' head, including him killing Neptune's wife. After being revealed as a god, Zagreus threw Neptune into the waters. Venus then took him to Zeus, who told him his origin. Defiant and manipulated by Venus, Zagreus was very hostile towards his father Zeus and his sister Angel. Zeus had no other option than to imprison Zagreus.

Zagreus was freed by the Being and became one of the new Keepers.
