Amalgam Comics was the name of the imprint in which Marvel and DC Comics merged their characters, teams and their universes together. 24 one-shot issues were published, 12 by Marvel and 12 by DC, all taking places in one single universe.

Secret Crisis of the Infinity Hour
This event is not actually featured in any comic book, but was simply referred to in other Amalgam Comics. It draws elements from the following comic book events: DC's Crisis on Infinite Earths and Zero Hour, and Marvel's Secret Wars and Infinity Gauntlet.
Often referred to simply as the "Secret Crisis", this is the greatest battle yet to take place in the Amalgam Universe. During this event, Thanoseid, along with Doctor Doomsday, sought to use the Infinity Links in order to obliterate all that was, save only Thanoseid's realm of Apokolips.
Thus, it was up to Amalgam's greatest heroes to stop them ,resulting in a climatic battle in Thanoseid's realm of Apokolips.
