Gastro
Gastro is a technology in Paul Pope's 100% (set in 2038) that allows people to see what goes on inside the body of say a stripper as she gets off or a boxer as he gets beaten to a bloody pulp.
Overview
Gastro technology uses MRI-Tek that monitors, records, and projects 3-D imaging of the insides of people bodies. This technology is used in a variety of businesses, including but not limited to:
- Gastro Clubs: strip clubs where the dancers' internal organs can be viewed as they perform for a paying audience. This is accompanied by elaborate stage personae, makeup, and accessories - such as the Firecoat worn once by Daisy, which is a coat that simulates lighting her on fire as she dances.
- Gastro-Fight: a sport resembling boxing which uses MRI-Tek to show the internals of fighters as they battle.
