In 2008 Marvel formed their own Soleil imprint to translate many of the French Soleil titles.

By the end of 2010 all of the remaining Marvel Soleil miniseries' ended naturally but no new mini's were announced or solicited. In 2011 Marvel quietly sold off their backlog of Soleil single issues, trades and hard covers to retailers at up to 90% off cover price and in an interview Axel Alonso said that there were no plans to publish any more Soleil translations at the time. Nothing official has been said about the ending up the partnership with Soleil but the Soleil sections of the Marvel website have been shut down.
