Spider-Sense

Spider-Sense

A tingling feeling at the base of Spider-Man's skull that alerts him to personal danger.

When faced with danger, Spider-Man is warned by a peculiar tingling sensation in the back of his head of his skull. Over The years, Spidey has honed this sixth senses, forging it into one of the most useful tools in his arsenal. Able to detect anything from a fast approaching bullet to tainted meat in a sandwich, Spidey's spider-sense can also be used to help him detect trouble in the city. Peter Parker has even devolved special spider-tracers that are attuned to his spider-sense and can help him pinpoint foes, wherever they're hiding.

The Web of Life and Destiny is the source of Madame Web's precognition, as well as the precognitive "Spider-Sense" ability exhibited by various totemic avatars.
