A Television Series Companion Comic is a comic book which is published concurrently with a TV show which it is based, often featuring the likenesses of the actors and actresses in either photos or illustrated renditions.
This concept differs from TV Show Continuations which is marked by the fact that the comic is (or was) published after the TV show it was based on was cancelled or ended.
