These include Billy, Fantomet, Tempo, Donald Duck & Co, Agent X9, Kamp Serien, Tommy og Tigern, Sølvpilen, Skippern and Conan.

Notable Creators and Series

Nemi is a a popular character that originated in Norway but is simultaneously run as a strip in various countries and received a monthly comic in both Norway and Sweden. Other notable Norwegian comic creators include Mads Eriksen and Frode Øverli.

Translation Industry

The bulk of comic material published in Norway is translated with many of the same preferences as other Nordic regions. These include Disney comics, British comics, comic strips, American comics and in contrast to the other major European industries, relatively little manga.
