The Unnamed
The Unnamed is the brain child of Geoff Johns, through his production company, Ghost Machine. It centers on strange heroes throughout both America's history and future, fighting The Unknown War.

Creation
The Unnamed franchise is the brainchild of Geoff Johns and his production company, Mad Ghost, published through Image Comics. Early promotional material for Geiger included a timeline of events referring to each of The Unnamed, strange heroes throughout history, as well as The Unknown War and a "Great Evil" that must be stopped. At New York Comic Con 2023, it was announced that Mad Ghost would be re-named Ghost Machine and be home to multiple franchises.

- July 13, 1749 - Redcoat was born
- 1776 - Redcoat becomes immortal
- August 24, 1819 - Redcoat witnesses the burning of the White House
- 1864 - The Northerner begins his hunt
- July 18, 1864 - Redcoat meets The Northerner
- November 4, 1892 - Redcoat meets Albert Einstein
- 1944 - The Monster is made
- 1972 - Junkyard Joe comes online
- January 28, 1973 - The first Junkyard Joe comic strip is published.
- 1997 - American Widow X has her revenge
- 2019 - Redcoat was hired to hunt The Blizzard
- 2020 - Joe reunited with Muddy Davis
- 2025 - The First Ghost is captured on film
- 2030 - The Unknown War erupts
- June 24, 2042 - Geiger finds his two headed pet, Barney
- 2050 - Geiger walks across America

The Unnamed
Redcoat

Associated War: American Revolution
Redcoat's real name is Simon Pure, a member of the British army, who was sent to the American colonies to suppress the revolution. He was exposed to magic from a cabal called The Founding Fathers, making him immortal.
The Northerner

Associated War: American Civil War
The Northerner is a time traveler from a future where the Confederacy won the Civil War. He travels back to ensure that they don't.
Junkyard Joe
First appearance: Geiger (2021) #5
Associated War: Vietnam War
Joe was a military robot placed on a platoon call The Junkyard Dogs. He was thought lost in the field when he only managed to save one of his fellow platoon members. Years later, he showed up to that lone survivor's house believing him to be his creator.
Geiger
First appearance: Geiger (2021) #1
Associated War: The Unknown War
Geiger was a family man with a strange form of cancer that didn't seem to be causing him problems. When the Unknown War erupted and a nuclear weapon was dropped close to Geiger's house, he was supernaturally irradiated into a superhuman. He now walks the dystopian country as a folk legend.

Television
- It was announced on October 20, 2022 that Geiger would be adapted for television by Justin Simien and Geoff Johns for Paramount Television Studios. To date, there has been no other news on the project.
Merchandise
- One:12 Collective produced a Junkyard Joe action figure in 2024. It was approximately 17cm tall with 10 interchangeable hands and 19 accessories.
