With all the distractions of the nightmares Lady Death has suffered in Heel sheis dismayed to find her champion on Earth, Evil Ernie, incapacitated.

To ensure the safety of mankind they seal Ernie in concrete and connect the neuro-probe to him and Dr Young as the search for his button starts. Smiley himself uses the extra energy that Lady Death gave him to try and make his own way back to Ernie, using his crossbones as feet to walk with. He finds the war suit and clumsily uses it to move and firing weapons at random.

Inside Ernie's mind Marys is shocked by the world of Lady Death's endless graveyard. She has guns and uses them to slay anything that moves towards her until Purgatori knocks her down and knows who she is and attacks her with her blood curse. In the real world Mary's body is shaking with the shock.

Smiley finds his way to Ernie, shatters the concrete with the guns and leaps onto his jacket. Ernie kills a guard and Lady Death appears and once again has to recharge Ernie's arcane energy.

Price takes on Ernie with nothing more than a pistol, trying to bring him down, disgusted at his failure to contain the monster. During the once sided fight Ernie removes both of Price's arms. Ernie leaves the baseas it explodes in a massive fireball.
