1. "This Hostage Must Die!" (Part 2). Superman is held captive by Red Hawk (formerly Don Hawks, an astrophysicist) and his Indian tribe. Red Hawk wants to trade him for Montezuma's Castle, an ancient sacred site, which is being used as land for a new defense installation. When Superman neutralizes the red gem whose rays hold him captive, he escapes and burrows underneath the site, where he discovers that Haldane, the head of the construction company has discovered an ancient Aztec treasure and is trying to steal it. With Haldane behind bars, the wealth from the treasure passes to the Indians.

2. "Superman vs. Supergirl "The Feud of the Titans!" Superman and Supergirl are carrying loads of outlawed super-weapons to Superman's arctic fortress where they hurl them into a disintegration pit. While doing this, they mysteriously become enemies and start to battle each other. The mystery is solved when they discover that one of the destroyed weapons contained a hate gas that mixed with Kryptonian elements in the furnace so it affected both of them.
