A Zero Hour crossover issue. After defeating a temporal-displaced Starro, Superman returns to the temporary building housing the Daily Planet from his mission in Zero Hour #2. Superman believes the temporal rift in the past has been destroyed, however, he realizes his mistake when Perry White is erased. Realizing Perry is roughly his parents’ age, Superman rushes to Smallville to check on them. He goes through a temporal anomaly into Smallville’s past, where he meets younger versions of his parents. In this alternate past, Superman was killed as a baby when he landed on Earth. Superman saves the lives of this version of Jonathan and Martha Kent, and is pulled out of time by Liri Lee, as modern day Metropolis and Lois Lane are eaten by the time rifts.
