- "CANVAS OF CRIME" (Green Lantern) Alan Scott is invited to view some commissioned portraits by an eccentric artist. surprisingly, the portraits show the deaths of everyone in the room except for Scott (including the artist). when the artist promptly dies Scott is blamed and must escape so he can clear his name as the Green Lantern.
