Corrupted by the Spear of Destiny, the JSA must save Captain Marvel.

The All-Star Squadron surround Captain Marvel, Junior, and Mary Marvel. Having just lost a fight with Captain Marvel, Superman is particularly aggressive, and untrusting. When Captain Marvel, Junior, and Mary Marvel grab Superman, the Green Lantern, and Wonder Woman, end the conflict before it can really start. Mary Marvel tells her tale. On the parallel world of Earth-"S", Captain Marvel had suddenly vanished. Captain Marvel, Junior, and Mary Marvel, turned to the wizard, Shazam, for aid. Shazam advised them to seek out Captain Marvel on Earth-2. The All-Star Squadron discern that Captain Marvel has fallen under the sway of Adolf Hitler's Spear Of Destiny.

Captain Marvel, Junior, and Mary Marvel, speak their magic words, transforming back into Freddy Freeman, and Mary Batson. Taking on the shape of a dirigible, Plastic Man carries the Batman, Batson, the Flash, and Freeman, to Germany. The Green Lantern, the Hawkman, Superman, and Wonder Woman escort them to the edge of Nazi-occupied territory, but only the Hawkman can continue the journey into Germany. Plastic Man safely reaches the Reichschancellery Building. After the Flash takes out the guards, the All-Star Squadron release the captive Billy Batson. Captain Marvel bursts into the room, followed by Hitler.

Billy Batson reveals that when Captain Marvel was drawn to Earth-2, he materialized standing on a strange device that separated Captain Marvel, and Billy Batson. Hitler has Batson, and Freeman, placed on Hans Gootsden's machine. Mary Marvel, and Captain Marvel, Junior, are separated from Batson, and Freeman. Captain Marvel, Junior, and Mary Marvel, immediately fall sway to the Spear Of Destiny, becoming loyal to Hitler. The Marvel Family is tasked with carrying, and dropping, a massive bomb, on London. Billy Batson distracts one of his guards, giving the Flash an opening. The All-Star Squadron subdue their guards, and escape the Reichschancellery Building.

Superman spies the Marvel Family, approaching London with the bomb. The Green Lantern, Superman, and Wonder Woman intercept the Marvel Family. The Green Lantern attacks Captain Marvel, Junior. Wonder Woman tries, but fails, to bind Mary Marvel in her Lasso of Truth. Captain Marvel drop kicks the bomb on London. Superman breaks off his battle with Captain Marvel, to go after the bomb. The Green Lantern, and Wonder Woman, follow. Though the three heroes manage to detonate the bomb before it hits London, the resulting explosion renders them all unconscious, leaving them at the mercy of the Marvel Family.

Plastic Man is shot out of the sky. Plastic Man quickly remolds himself into a raft. Despite the Flash providing propulsion, both he, and Plastic Man, are hit by German gunfire. The German's close in on the All-Star Squadron. Suddenly, the Green Lantern, the Marvel Family, Superman, and Wonder Woman attack the Germans. The All-Star Squadron just managed to get the Batsons, and Freeman, out of Nazi-occupied territory, freeing the Marvel Family from the spell of the Spear of Destiny. The battle over, the Batsons, Freeman, and the Marvel Family, all speak their magic words in unison, reuniting them, while simultaneously, returning them to Earth-"S".
