The family reunion turns lethal when the dark truth behind his “dead” mother’s return is finally revealed to Aquaman and his kingdom!

Maelstrom part 6 of 6

Arthur, Mera, Dr. Shin, Daneil Evans, Lenu, and a small force of Atlantian soldiers, are in the Maelstrom watching as Karaku attacks Atlanna and her people.

Just as Karaku turns his attention to Atlanna, Arthur can't watch any longer, and jumps in to protect her. Arthur is able to save Atlanna but, Evan is killed. While moarning his fallen friend Arthur is attacked from behind, and Mera and Atlanna come to his aid.

Mera defeats Karaku, but Arthur is still very weak. Atlanna is going to kill Arthurm, still thinking that he is there to destory the Maelstorm. Arthur uses his powers to call all the sea life to him and prove he is really her son and king of Atlantis. She spares his life but forces him to leave and send him and his friends home through the portal.

Back home, Arthur realizes that he may never see his mother again but she sends him a gift, his trident and a shell that will let Atlantis know that he is its true king. Maelstrom Part 6 of 6.
