To rescue Jean-Paul from the destructive side of his Azrael programming, Brian Bryan sends him to an old colleague, Doctor Orchid, a psychiatrist with decidedly different methods. Those methods promote a secret agenda and send Azrael into conflict with a strange and violent menace who seems to be the Avenging Angel's equal.
