On Pago Island
Most of this story takes place on Pago Island. As the cover shows it is Carapax trying to kill both Blue Beetle and Maxwell Fisher. Carapax is an indestructible robot with Conrad Carapax's essence inside controlling it. Meanwhile in Chicago Ted Kord's girlfriend, Melody Case meets Randall Truman and it looks like there is some romance in the air. Lastly Jeremiah Duncan's past finally catches up to him and he gets kidnapped by the Catalyst.
