Cosmic Boy and Night Girl decide to return to the future to make sure the conditions of the 20th century did not affect their friends back in the future. Unfortunately, they are unable to break the time barrier and are stuck in the 20th century. They enlist the assistance of scientist Jason Krinnski to fix the time bubble, but to no avail. Cosmic Boy realizes he can bring them back to the future under his own power of magnetism and does so, but upon reaching the future, finds himself confronted by the Time Trapper.
