- "The Last Bounty Hunter" - (/) Jonah Hex is killed while cleaning his glasses during a card game by George Barrow in retaliation for wiping out his gang earlier in the story. Barrow is killed moments later by the town sheriff in cold blood even after he puts down his gun in revenge for Hex's demise. Hex's Body is later stolen from his wife Tall Bird. Who is killed when the thieves burn his cabin to the ground.Hex is then stuffed and mounted to be put on display in a traveling carnival. The body is later stolen and sold to an antique dealer and left to rot until the 1970's where it sits on display once again in an amusement park where a child asks his mother whether or not it was a real person to which the woman replies "of course not" then the narration shows the year of Hex's birth to his death in 1904.
- "Chinatown" - (O'Neil / Moliterni) Unofficially referred to as 'Chinatown', this story is just entitled 'Bat Lash' in this volume. Bat Lash gambles in the only place in San Francisco where he's not banned, Chinatown. Unfortunately, he's unwittingly drawn into the local conflict between the Irish and the Chinese.
