In the final chapter of this story, KASS is forced to make the ultimate choice between two killers – and her father may be the worse of them!

Kass is held hostage by the Swan Killer who turns out to be Steven Ward the son of Detective Adam Ward, who captured her father and died for it. He studied his father's notes to imitate Savage's murders. He was hoping to thereby get Savage released from prison, so he could meet and kill him for the death of his father. Before Steven decides to kill Kass instead, Savage turns up and they fight. Kass shoots Steven and kills him.

Savage wants to leave but Kass points the gun at him, blaming him again for all his and Steven's murders. Before Kass can make a decision, the SWAT teams arrive and capture Savage. Back in prison, they talk once again and Kass tells him, she can't deal with his past right now. When she leaves, Savage chokes up a key, ready to escape once more...
