- The Crimes of the Human Magnet: (Batman) David Wist was a jeweler known for watch repair, tries to join a gang as a safe cracker but is laughed at because apparently, his skills are useless for big bank vaults. he tries to burglarise a mansion but sets off the alarm, summoning the dynamic duo. Fleeing them, Wist hops a fence and runs into an ultra-nuclear fission lab and causes an accident that turns him into a human magnet with a positive charge on his right hand and a negative charge on his left. unable to control the power he develops anti-magnetic plastic gloves to dampen the effect. he then makes a costume and begins a crime spree as the human magnet. in the end, Batman uses mosquitos to trick Wist into putting his hands together, rendering him helpless.
