"NINE LIVES HAS THE CAT…" Thought to have used up his nine lives and perished, the Catman has returned to Gotham City seeking revenge on the two who left him for dead, Batman and Catwoman.

Seeking out his mystical cape which was stolen by Catwoman, Cat-Man returns to Gotham City with a vengeance. Seeking to harm the two people responsible for his supposed death and scarring, he captures Batman and Catwoman. Will Batman be able to stop Cat-Man before he is able to get his revenge? And just who is the mystery woman photographing Bruce Wayne?

Batgirl rescues Supergirl from the clutches of the Annihilator, but not before he has a chance to absorb some of her power, causing himself to evolve. Taking a brief break, during which Supergirl "drills" a place for Batgirl to hide her Batcycle, they plan an assault on the Annihilator. But will the powers he absorbed from Supergirl give him the upper-hand?
