As Captain Atom quantum jumps through time, he is pulled out of the Quantum Field and into the distant future of Warworld by an alternate version of Maxima to help her and that world's Blue Beetle to defeat the Alliance, an evil version of the Justice League International led by Lord Havok (with Max Lord's brain uploaded into his body) and with all of the same heroes from Captain Atom's timeline.
