Part 2 of 3, continued from the previous issue. Starro is dead...or is he? It's hard to tell as the JLE return to their London embassy to find their friends and loved ones still possessed by the alien. And guess who's next on Starro's list of targets? This issue guest-stars J'onn J'onzz, the Martian Manhunter.

Returning home from what appeared to be a failed mission to get Starro to his home planet, the Justice League Europe learns that Starro used them and is taking over London. Starro is able to enslave most of the JLE, with the exception of Captain Atom, Metamorpho and Rocket Red. The three escape and fly to New York to get the aide of the JLA.

There Martian Manhunter agrees to go back to London and find the head Starro. The four track the head Starro to a sewer and Martian Manhunter tries to fight it, but he kills the host by mistake and the head Starro takes over J'onn's body as his own.
