Johnny Thunder can't figure out why Peachy won't have anything to do with him any more. He sends his Thunderbolt off to investigate, then reconsiders.

Current Affairs Spotlight on Alan Scott's GBC station spreads propaganda that the Justice Society is guilty of treason - working with the likes of Hitler and Stalin. Guy Gardner buys into that and confronts Alan Scott outside the station.

Meanwhile Rex and Rick make an attempt to tap an inner hidden strength, so that Rick can handle more chemotherapy.

Following Alan's confrontation with Guy, the Justice Society are seemingly rescued by Carter Hall.
