Overview

The astonshing maxi-series nears its stunning conclusion. Defeated by the overwhelming numbers that make up the Progeny forces, the Lost Legionnaires are taken to the Progeny homeworld, where they come face to face with the Progenitor, who reveals how the alien race came to be. The team also discovers Element Lad's fate, but unless they can put their own differences aside, they're in no position to do anything about it.

Element Lad explains to the Legion of Super-Heroes how he became the Progenitor. Back during the incident that caused the Legionnaires to become lost, Element Lad was some shunted to some place outside of the galaxy, where he suffered through time for centuries. He gained a grasp of his powers beyond anything before and began to think of himself as a god, creating the Progeny to do his whim. The Legion try to find a way to stop the Progeny from reaching their area of the galaxy while the Progenitor kills Monstress. The fight is on.
