Saturn Girl relinquishes her leadership to Live Wire, since the team feels wary around her after the incident of last issue. The Legionnaires cope with the possibility of never returning home. Saturn Girl speaks to Ultra Boy and they kiss, lost in their desperation. They soon find a fleet of spaceships racing away and try to follow them, knowing they are escaping from something. Before they can leave, they are approached by a giant fleet of the Progeny.
