"The Showdown Between Luthor and Superman!"

a. Part I: "The Showdown Between Luthor and Superman!"

Luthor breaks free from prison and issues repeated challenges on TV for Superman to face him man-to-man, without super powers. Superman finally accepts, and the two travel to a distant planet with a red sun to fight it out. But will the planet itself be the death of them?

b. Part II: "The Super-Duel!"

The planet proves to be inhabited, and Luthor becomes a hero to the locals, while Superman is seen as a villain. The second round of Luthor and Superman's battle is fought in an arena full of spectators - cheering for Luthor!
