  1. Lois Lane, Superwoman! by Alvin Schwartz -- two stage magicians, Hocus, and Pocus, magically endow Lois Lane with Superman's powers (or so they all believe). Actually, Superman uses his powers to surreptitiously make it seem real. She makes herself a Superwoman costume but demands that the magicians change her back when she (thinks) her superpowers are responsible for driving men off.

Showdown on the Showboat (Superman vs Hugh Rowland / written by Alvin Schwartz) Lois and Clark visit a river showboat where a play depicts a villain threatening to foreclose on a farm if the farmer's daughter doesn't marry him. they soon learn the boat will really be foreclosed on if the owner doesn't pay by midnight the next day but someone is trying to keep them from paying.
