In the city of Tomorrow, Superman has not been seen from in many years. Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, Lex Luthor, and The Parasite form a resistance. Metropolis is capsized. The Parasite absorbed some of Superman before his apparent death and as a result still has some of Superman's powers and memories. This is all a result of the heroes falling through some unknown source. Superman is defeated by a villain named Khyber and is thrown from space into the earth, as a result the world shakes as if numerous atomic bombs have gone off, causing the planet to react violently. A deformed Wonder Woman and a new Green Lantern are also part of the resistance in the future.
