One year after the evil Cyborg Superman hurled Doomsday's body into space, the real Superman is haunted by memories of his death in battle. Consumed by the knowledge that Doomsday is still out there, and obsessed with penetrating the mystery of Doomsday's origin, Superman sets out to find the monster and put an end to him - once and for all.
