Batman must travel to Ra's al Ghul's island to stop the villain's plans for spreading a deadly disease to the rest of the world.

NOTE: While there is no direct connection to the previous issue, Talia is in Gotham. Presumably, after her encounter with Batgirl, she turns to Batman. The only connection is a toxin that the toxicologist from the previous issue could have developed an antidote for. This is a somewhat indirect continuation from the previous issue.
