Jason returns to Gotham looking for Harry Matthews because he needs his help to summon Belial and save Glenda. In a warehouse rented by Harry they create a magic circle and call Belial. Using the Philosopher's Stone Jason questions Belial and learns that not only is Etrigan his son but so is Merlin. When Harry distracts Jason for a second Belial uses the opportunity to escape but he takes Harry to hell with him and leaves Glenda in his place. Etrigan appears swapping places with Jason and tells Glenda that to set him and Jason free they must use music to control Merlin. After the Demon vanishes and Jason returns Glenda tells him what she has learned and he vows to return to Britain in an attempt to find Merlin.
