A foreign spy named Dr. Lu brainwashes Flash into believing hes taking hairspray to his wife when what hes really doing is attempting to assassinate the president.

New series artist Irv Novick and writer Robert Kanigher scattered the number 200 throughout this landmark issue of the Flash. Foreign spy Dr Lu brainwashed the Scarlet Speedster into believing that she was his wife, Iris, and that he was picking up a can of hairspray for her. In reality, Flash was unknowingly attempting to assassinate the president of the Unite States with a laser gun. Thankfully, he snapped out of it just in time after a kiss from Dr Lu revealed the taste of her lipstick, which wasn't Iris' brand. The Flash sped to Lu's island hideout and rescued his real wife who had been held captive. He then raced around the island 200 times, forcing Lu's explosive missiles to alter their course and obliterate the location.
