Superman must cast the deciding vote, regarding the Flash's continued membership in the Justice League of America. While the Flash waits for Superman to determine his fate, his mind reflects back to the day he married Picture News reporter, Iris West.

The Flash's reverie carries him up through his wife's death, at the hands of Professor Zoom, the notorious Reverse Flash. The Flash continues to reflect on Professor Zoom's death, at the hands of the Flash. An incident that has brought him to his current predicament. Superman has reached his decision.
