The High Council of Solar Delegates has pulled a Green Lantern from Earth of the 1980s to the year 5711 to help them fight the Breakers, but due the fact that Hal Jordan was off planet at the time the High Council grabs Salaak by mistake. As always the instrument that pulls people through time erases the travels memories and the High Council is forced to implant the persona Pol Manning into their blank mind.

This time due to the events of Green Lantern 137, Iona Vanes mind needed to be erased and reimplanted with the memory that she was really Pol's girlfriend and love intrest.

Salaak has fought back the Breakers, a race that seemingly wants to destroy Star City, but is soon revealed that the Breakers are just creatures that have evolved from Dr. Ub'x experiments. This leads Ch'p who time traveled to the 57th century and help his people while trying to give Salaak back his memories.

The two Green Lantern's fight and with the help of Dr. Ub'x staff they are able to give Salaak back his memories, and when he realizes he has been tricked Salaak decares war on Star City and the High Council.
