While Mike Carey and Peter Gross are usually credited as "creators" of The Unwritten, it is usually assumed Carey writes while Peter draws. However, this is the first issue of the series in which it appears Gross has contributed nothing to the art and yet he is credited in the same way, suggesting either he helps write the scripts or the partnership has a contract that means both creators get equal credit for everything.
