The Amazon emissary locates Diana and I-Ching and brings them both across dimensional barriers to the land where Paradise Island now exists.

Diana returns home to Paradise Island to find her mother permanently asleep due to a magical spell which one of Ares' minions has cast on her. He is seeking that she hand over her ring for dimensional travel. Diana decides to lead the Amazons into battle, first against a horde of monsters and later to rescue her kidnapped mother.
