- "THE GIRL WHO SAVED PARADISE ISLAND" (Wonder Woman) long ago when the Spartans would leave their babies in the wild to be killed the Amazons would save them, taking the girls to the planet infanta where they would stop aging once they were 5. one such girl, Astra became queen and swore to repay the amazons for all they had done for her people. the boys meanwhile were taken to Mars by Lord Conquest and trained to want only one thing, death to the Amazon. now in 1949 Mars launches an attack on Paridise Island using gas to incapacitate the Amazons before sending in his child soldiers. Hippolyta calls to Wonder Woman with the mental radio but queen Astra also hears the call and leads her forces to the amazon's aid.
